The architecture of The Mansfield draws on a distinctly European influence, expressed through the use of brick, proportion and a refined structural grid.

Familiar yet striking

The design explores variation within a defined framework, creating visual interest while maintaining cohesion across the two buildings. This approach allows the development to feel composed and deliberate, without feeling heavy or uniform.

Materiality has been a core focus. The familiar warmth of brick is juxtaposed with contemporary design elements. Extensive glazing, linear patterning and an almost surprising sense of lightness give The Mansfield a look and a legacy all of its own.

This is an address that will stand out as a landmark from day one, and like a fine wine, only get better with time.

Modern open-concept living space with a kitchen island, bar stools, a white sofa, wall art, a desk with a computer, and decorative elements like a clock and artwork.

“From the overall design through to the execution of each apartment, our intent has been to create a living experience that is both effortless and refined.”

— James Patterson, Walker Architects
